We’ve just announced that ProServ PR will be sponsoring Somerset CCC and England all-rounder Craig Overton for the 2020 season.

As a home-grown player graduating from the Somerset Academy, Craig highlights why Somerset is widely regarded as one of the most effective in the country at developing its young cricketing talent. In fact, he’s one of six Somerset players to represent England over recent years!

After recently seeing its junior Player Pathway Programme in action, we’re delighted to be supporting both Craig and the County in both its development of young cricketers for the future, and the first team with its aim of winning some silverware in 2020.

Shortly after we announced our sponsorship of Craig, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) awarded him with an England Pace Bowling Development Contract.

Somerset Director of Cricket, Andy Hurry said: “This represents a great opportunity for Craig to give himself the best chance of playing at the very highest level. To represent your country is the pinnacle of anyone’s cricketing career. We will be working closely with the ECB in order to manage Craig’s workloads in order to ensure that he can optimise this opportunity.”
