This month we have launched The Harvey Nash Tech Talent & Salary Report, that surveyed over 3,600 technology professionals globally (1,394 in the UK).

Each year we lead on the UK public relations, but also prepare the press releases for global markets and the US.

The report found that although cyber security is the third most in-demand tech skill in the UK and across the globe, and despite high profile attacks on some of the UK’s leading companies, cyber security professionals based in the UK (77%) missed out on pay rises, more than any other technology role last year. The report found that this UK trend was also mirrored across the world – but with slightly fewer (71%) global cyber security professionals missing out on a pay rise.

We had a really successful PR campaign with press coverage in the UK widespread within the tech press, with pieces in Computer Weekly, Information Age, Computing, MSN, diginomica, SC Magazine, Cybersecurity Insiders, Tech Radar, The Register, The Global Recruiter, Infosecurity Magazine, DIGIT NEWS, IT Pro, UK Tech News, Personnel Today and ZDNet.com.
